Here’s the thing fellas, I don’t care who’s on the team next year. I didn’t shed a tear after losing every player from this year’s squad and don’t care who joins next year’s. Everyone is. Mystery. Hand-ringing over names we’ve known for 15 minutes is silly. I want guys who want to be here, period. I want a clear, coherent system and sustainability. That’s all that matters.

Peegs and ITH posted stories about Overton almost instantly. Seems like a pretty big hint. quality guard, not the super star we’ve been chasing though.

Would definitely expect us to get involved. His HS coach Luke Barnwell however just left Texas Tech to take an assistant job at Iowa. He was recruited over in the portal this offseason. I think he’s more of a 6 man at this level but there’s definitely playing time to sell.

Wouldn’t be a bad addition at all depending on his role. Sure TTU wanted him as their 6th man again, he was good for them.
