To the credit of this discussion group, I have seen very, very little panic.

There is a mindset adjustment that we all should embrace IMO. Everybody hears CDD say that we need players that fit to form a team; not a collection of talent, and thinks that makes perfect sense. But then, given our Woodson experience, we see talented pieces go elsewhere and it's easy to think "oh no!" Remember what made sense all along - we are building a team, not collecting talent pieces.

• If our coaching staff is good enough, they will take that assembled team and do well with it.
• If they are not good enough, all the talented pieces in the world won't compensate.

We already have one alpha player/scorer/leader; Tucker Devries. And no one knows CDD's system better than him.

Enright is likely a huge pickup. Plus defender, big-time passer and floor leader, and most importantly; has experienced and can communicate what CDD wants to new additions.

Two statements that get some posters excited but have proven to have very, very little correlation to landing a recruit:

1) our players/assistants are now following recruit ABC !!

2) our current player is “in the ear” and really recruiting target ABC !!

Both scenarios don’t really seem to mean squat.

This is the 2nd player we've offered or almost offered 2 million to that said no thanks. That has to be slightly concerning.

I don’t even care about losing Josh Dix the player. But it’s kind of annoying that nobody wants our cash.

Other schools get to offer money as well.  I can guarantee you there will be players who say thanks and take whatever the actual number offered is
