To be fair maybe he’s working on a starting PG we just don’t know about yet? He must have an awful lot of trust in Enright to make him a starter… if so, we’ll see…

I’m going to trust Darian on his moves this off-season. I’m holding him to a high standard of making the dance next year, it doesn’t take five stars to make the dance, that’s for sure in today’s age.

We need 10 more bodies in here minimum.  Getting a PG who has been in his system is a good add. Besides, we need a guy to pass the ball to Conwell, Dix, and DeVries.  (Hopefully at least 1 of those 2 come here).

Also, the boy wonder wanted him.  That's gotta count for something.

He isn't going to be a starter so just relax SMH

Context matters, Enright was stretched too far on a bad DePaul team.

He’s played three years of college basketball and looking at just one — the only one he didn’t play for Darian DeVries — is evaluating him with less than full info for no reason.

I don’t expect he’ll be the starter, barring injury, but he’s totally capable of 12-25 minutes that help you win, especially on a team with the other talent that’s visiting

Plus defender at guard, career 36% 3pt shooter. He’s not perfect but he’ll play with like 8 guys at IU better than anyone he had alongside him at DePaul last year. Not sure why anyone feels like disparaging him.

Impossible to rate this move given the current state of the roster. There’s a world where it’s a great pickup, a world where it’s meh, and a world where it’s awful. For now, all we know is DD picked up a player the Wiz Kid wanted, which I think is a positive sign.

Lol. You aren’t the emotion police. Enright is a hard working kid that will be outclassed in size and skill in about every single P5 matchup and some other matchups too. I call a spade a spade. Watched lots of video. Games. Looked at stats. I hope we didn’t break the bank on this one. My opinion doesn’t need to be to board’s opinion and this is as underwhelming of an addition as I can imagine, starter or not.

I’ll root like hell for the kid once he dons the candy stripes. But when he’s clanking needed free throws or getting bullied all over the court next year I’ll be extra saucy because I saw it coming.
