Woodson needs to decide if he's going to run the program as a feeder line for the NBA, or a college program whose only goal is to win a championship. It's highly unlikely he can do both as evidence by the last three years. What's surprising to me is the total lack of guard play. You could take any of ISU's guards from this year's Sycamore team, (none of which have a hope in hell of making an NBA roster), and they could easily have started at IU and likely accounted for 4-6 additional wins.

Doubt it.  Because none of them would have been as good under Woodson.  It’s coaching players/team…it’s just not there not on NBA level nor college level.  (I know what you mean though)

Based on last year our guard play has been poor but his first 2 years our guard play was pretty good. X’s last 10 games his first year were great and JHS was also very good down the stretch 2 years ago.

Well he’s the answer to fix this program. If it cost $8 million a year, then you pay him $8 million a year.

There is no feasible amount of money that will entice Dan Hurley to leave UConn for another college program. (I was gonna say “literally no amount,” but I suppose $100m/year would do it.)

You can put a guy like Hurley in the Brad Stevens, Nate Oats, Bill Self, Erik Spoelstra category.

Woodson got his feelings hurt when he was rightfully passed over last time. We're stuck as long as his friend has any say in the matter; better chance that Woodson gets another unearned raise just to make him feel better.

QB’s term is up after this year. Now that’s not saying that the governor won’t reappoint him, but we now have a different governor, sooo who knows

Politically appointed just means the replacement will be chosen for a political reason. If the administration is as corrupt as it seems there is zero chance that makes it better.

Pence was who appointed him 2016, so I would assume that is how that role is filled, so I would assume being appointed by the governor wouldn’t change. Holcomb could just reappoint as to not ruffle feathers or change anything

My big question today is what gets us to 1000. A Purdue win of a Purdue loss?

My wanting Mike Woodson gone has nothing to do with Purdue so neither outcome will affect my posting.

Holcomb's time is up.  Be somebody completely different in the governor's office next summer.
