The bridge is now burnt and the fans will be more even more divided… maybe United towards the end of the year next year when we are 15-16.

The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

I’m not trying to be too hyperbolic, but not taking your alumnus is how Ohio State ended up with RMK being our legendary coach. It would almost be serendipity if Dusty went there and proceeded to win huge and not leave. Oof, just made myself throw up in mouth a little.

Well, what do we do now folks? Dolson ended the basketball program tonight. 
 

Also, credit to Zach. He’s connected well to Dolson. I figured he’d be the one who broke the news regardless. 
 

Guess I’ll be back when the portal opens up and we lose the current players to better programs.

Never said that but my feeling is if I leave the team when it is bad then I have no right to come back when they start winning. You do whatever you feel is best for you but if you don't watch I don't see why you think you should ***** about their play. You coming here complaining won't change anything because it shows you are still invested in the program. The only thing that will work is if their revenue goes away. If people want to make a difference then don't get season tickets or buy any merchandise

I wouldn’t agree that he’s completely unqualified, but it’s not hard to see that his NBA view of basketball doesn’t work in college, and that’s style of play, roster management, in game decisions and prep work. It’s just a bad fit. And he and a bunch of others were disappointed by the way he was treated by someone who was completely tone deaf and in love with another coach. The blow back was bad and it probably helped Woody be at the front of the line after Miller was booted. I knew Dolson and Buckner weren’t banging heads and trying to out-scheme each other. That was beyond crazy and really uninformed.. But I’ve heard Dolson has been taken aback by the negative views of Woody, and he’s also shocked by the number of fans dressed as empty seats for much of the season, especially since the tickets were already sold.

I and I’m sure others appreciate everything you and others bring to the board for free even if it didn’t work out like we know it should.  At least they were courteous enough to announce this early to spare us staying up too late tonight

Very interesting Dolson leaks the news to Zach the day after he writes a story regarding a buyout. 
 

Meanwhile we have lots of smoke coming from this board today with Jerry, Chris, and Cathy. Dolson is reading this message board. 
 

This is the wrong decision Scott. You’re moving the goal line down further.
