Any idea if Brad would want to hire as an assistant. I’m guessing you don’t and that’s cool, I figure he’ll want someone close with Indiana high school ties or AAU. I would figure he would try to bring a coach like Ronald Nored one of his guys and possibly Jay Larranaga or Jamie Young.

I’ve heard Ronald Nored name. The only other name I’ve heard is Danny Ainge son but not as an assistant. More on the staff side.

The hump is in sight... he can get over it next time for sure?

Well as many times as we've talked about it and as many attempts that he's made to get over it, surely that hump is getting as thin as my patience hearing that excuse by now...Right? I mean he's already ripped off the bumpers and fenders of the lowrider that is IU in his haphazard attempts...might as well just blast over it at this point. @!#$ it, blast a hole in the oil pan, rip off an axle and send the fireball hurtling into the canyon if that's what it takes. We're looking at replacing this whole mess already anyway.

Stupid B1G tourney run like Ewing did a couple years back.   If they win the B1G tourney that would be doing something no other coach has ever done.   Ewings  following year after saving his job he went winless in conference

Yep. I think this is the little danger in the back of everyone's mind. There is still some talent on this roster. If it suddenly gots hot, who knows what could conceivably happen.

Plus, I'm not convinced that the B1G is full of world beaters. Every team is emminently beatable this year.

Stranger things have happened...

If he knows it’s over why hasn’t he announced his retirement yet?  Would make things a lot easier and would calm everyone down.  I guarantee you he doesn’t go quietly.  And I could definitely see him going to Dolson, saying give me year 5 and that’s it.  I’ll announce my retirement before the season starts.  If you don’t I’m going straight into burn it down mode.  That would be just like Woody and his massive ego.

Because he still thinks or at least he did a couple weeks ago that he could make a run in the NCAA tournament and get his 5th year.

The guy is beyond delusional. Probably best we lost to purdue that win really would have had him thinking year 5.

Hence why they need to fire him now. There isn’t a single world in which it makes a sliver of sense to bring Mike Woodson back next year. Fire him now and get it over with already.

His name is Dusty May. Offer him 10 million and see if he says no.

I know what you mean, but just on this topic if he wanted to come here $5-6M probably gets it done vs the $3.6M he is making now.
