If true, this is a massively bad move by Ferguson. 

I will say, though, that this shows the inherent danger of having a family member as an agent, though. Agents are like attorneys in this regard and shouldn't ever get caught up in the emotion of slights or take these kind of things personally when it comes to their client.

Up until the hiring news broke, the search had been very quiet, much like Dolson’s later revenue sport search would be. But if you knew who to trust, you knew there was a slow burn to a clandestine meeting in FL, then it fell apart.

No one has to believe me, but I was here, I PM’d some with the sources folks around here, and if you’re around long enough and pay attention, it’s obvious who among us is 1) BSing, 2) not sourced but here for fun and opinion sharing, and/or 3) who actually knows things occasionally.

Just to let you all know.....I don't know ****.  Wanted to get that out there.  Carry on.

Woj is a notorious mouthpiece for NBA agents and front offices. Whomever he got his info for this story wanted the message to be that Stevens clearly had no interest.

I get your point.  IMO, telling his wife to leave the room in any circumstance is poor form and dumb. If it happened.

This goes back to KathyC’s amazing process. If there was an amazing process in place we wouldn’t have allowed all these clowns in the room and probably would have vetted them and briefed them so shot like this wouldn’t happen.

I had many personal dealings with Peegs way back before, during, and after Knight was fired, in which case we had a falling out. Knight never trusted him, did not like him, and told his entire staff NOT to interact with him. I found him to be a slimy @$$ and never liked the guy. He has a career based on people who built his forum up, gave him inside info, and then **** all over them, IMO. During the months when everyone was trying to figure out if Knight would be fired or not...the ZERO TOLERANCE era... I remember having a phone call with Tim Garl, who was lighting Peegs up. I also recall a conversation with Mary Ann Davis (Knights longtime office manager.... don't like to use secretary lol) during Peegs pushing the "Knight threw a plant in the office" rumor, and I can attest that she indicated that absolutely did NOT happen. 

Side note....If a mod would like to verify my bonafides, I have no problem having that conversation.

Yeah i just recently reupped my subscription after the Illinois game and it seems as though he’s still playing his games. I think it’s because he can’t spill any beans until action is taken.
