I don’t really care.  This season was likely a failure the minute we kept Woody.  It’s unlikely anyone on our staff could materially improve this team.

Yea he’s not getting canned mid season. We are gonna ride this out, finish about .500 in the B1G and put this sorry chapter to bed. 
 

The we are going to shock the world and hire Brad Stevens. (Is that better guys?) I apologize for my lack of positive affirmations this morning lol

Sounds like the ship sailed on Pearl. 

May’s buyout seems like it was tailored exactly for IUs upcoming offseason.  That’s why I assume he’s one of the most realistic candidates (if not the favorite)

Which is frustrating bc there is talent on this team.  I know exhibitions don’t mean much, but they beat Tennessee on the road.  Now they’re losing by 20+ points regularly on the road to garbage teams. We suck

I had the opportunity to chat with Urban briefly at the Rose Bowl. I find it odd he would dumb it down so much given his comments privately. He doesn’t miss coaching and for the opposite reasons he shares here

Sam Story posted the Ken Pom projections for the next 8 games and Tyme and SDB are losing it on Twitter. In the grand scheme of things I truly believe those two hate IU basketball. You would not act that way if you really loved the university. Tyme says he played, the only team that dude played on was the YMCA team. I would almost guarantee he was picked last too.

1. Did Sam Story do another pre-season "report" similar to the one from a couple of years ago that was mentioned around these parts?

2. Without naming names, do you know the identity of NGW/Tyme?

I would think that would speed up his retirement. But again he thinks we will win the BTT and make a run in the NCAA. I don't think we will go 0-8 in those games though.

I think they will root against the next coach so they can try to prove a point to the "IU fanbase" (IU fans on X), who they despise for whatever reason.  I've even seen SDB take shots at Cig because IU fans are excited about him.  

If there are any people in the program like these two, they gotta go.

No and no. 

Sam paused his email this season. Also, I don't know the identity of that person. I'm blocked by them but the new Twitter rules allow me to see their post. @Home Jersey and @RaceToTheTop I think were close to figuring NGW out before he got mad and left last season. I just know by the way he talks he never played. I've been around big-time athletes for a long time. They never mention that they played. You either know or you don't

I read that article, it is pretty good and pretty spot on.  There is no urgency when it comes to Mike Woodson and the way he coaches this team.  He still thinks there is time to right the ship!
