You guys can choose to believe whatever you want about Brad, Dusty, and Bruce. The reality is that Dolson is going to do his job and if he wants someone specific he is going to do everything he can to get them (like he did with Cig)

....to "piggy back" this, those potential coaches are now seeing how serious IU/Scott Dolson is by investing and taking care of IU's Football coaches.

I did not this year.

The one the season before with the trips to practice (I live outside Chicago) and the writing, editing and film cuts it took about 27-28 hours to do.

I didn't want to put the time aside this year for a few reasons. "Access" wasn't part of it. Although that manufactured rumor did pick up steam. I don't know how or why. But, would never want the truth to get in the way of a made-up internet story :)

Sam - do you think IUs next coach will be Stevens or May?

IN: Scott and Pam running the show like with Cig and FB

OUT: A mix of 10 or so trustees, donors, and other administrators fighting and fumbling around to find a bball coach

Save us Scott!

I think when IU has an opening it can be a discussion for many others on what will come down the alleyway.

Personally, I try to avoid all of those conversations publicly.

Claims to be a former player, and also said that giving his hometown would give away who he is, so take that for what it’s worth internet sleuths.

That dude never played either.

Understood.  Can you comment on if you foresee a change this offseason and are you excited about what you are hearing for next potential coach?

Without specifically saying so, I think coaches don't get the leash they once did because of the immediately-eligible rule via the transfer portal.

Coaches used to get 4-5 years as they would have to recruit HS players or transfers would sit out a year by rule. That is no longer the case.

So, I do think many are of the belief that Indiana is line for a change because of the results coupled with the money spent.

Many journalists and a small (medium sized?) array of the IU fanbase thought Indiana would have a big, big season since they "won the portal."

To date, it would suggest that hasn't been the case. And when you factor in the roster changes coming to Indiana (six players alone are out of eligibility and doesn't include any transfers out) it would seem that a "reset" could be likely.

Very PC!  I take it that you are excited about the future of IU hoops?!!

@Ohio St, Maryland here and @NW

I would say just possibly Maryland.  MW has already drilled it into players heads that it’s hard to win on the road and based off of their last performance at Iowa, I think that holds true

I can’t say with 100% certainty but my sleuthing tells me it’s Freddie McSwain.  I still haven’t figured out the Tyme mystery but I haven’t given up yet.  Definitely some former players out there that hate the fanbase.

Dang that is some good work. I never pictured Freddie to be a water carrier for the program. I can kind of see it

I’m pretty sure of it.  Timing on comments make sense. And other things.  He was a hard working player and well liked, as far I remember him.  Clearly not happy with the social media fanbase and the fans “running off his coach”.

Sorry I just don't believe that. I also don't think it's a former player.

I'd also put $100 he isn't using Jeff Gordon as his profile picture if it were Freddie lol
