He was “retired”. Semantics aside. He hasn’t done his job and Indiana doesn’t want him as a coach anymore.

I heard he was linked to the UNC job because of his connection to Roy Williams, but maybe that job is not open. I think he got a DUI out there a few years back, now they're not winning the WCC so consistently. Never coached at a big time school. Probably thinks a fresh start would be good. I would 100% welcome him with our resources, even though he's 62. He's got 8 years of coaching in him.

I wanted Few 2 coaching hires ago. He was my #1. Damn. It would still be ok, I guess, but Let’s get Beard if this is the route we are looking.
