Given his ego, he'll put himself in the same category as Bob Knight. A former great IU coach that was wronged by the administration and not set foot in Bloomington for decades.

You mean “ former great IU employee that was let go unceremoniously and ….”. Woodson not in same universe as Knight as a COACH.

My thoughts exactly.  Dolson has the replacement lined up already since Woodson won’t finish the season.  It makes no sense for it to be any college coach because the rest of the season still has to be played.
We want him gone now. He will get booes Saturday even if it's announced he is leaving

If that is true, and after all this smoke and rumors, this Saturday and future home games are going to be something

Or, it could just be like others were saying.  There was an agreement that Woodson was going to retire and stick out the year.  He sat on it for a day and then said, "Screw it" took his two technicals and ejected himself from dealing with the mess he created knowing it is over anyway.

Getting those "two technicals" is the first sign that Woodson was anything like RMK. LOL

Too little...too late...

I agree. My wife agrees. My dog agrees.

Mike Woodson does not agree. I truly believe he thinks he's good at what he does.

This would be catastrophic.

Agreed!  In a workplace situation, if the higher-ups wanted you gone, it was immediate to save embarrassment and lessen the risk of any detriment to the establishment.

Some of you are grasping at straws that Mike Woodson being forced to resign/retire before the end of the season means that Dolson has Stevens lined up to take the job. One has nothing to do with the other. College coaches are pushed out during the season quite often and the schools don't have the next permanent coach ready to be hired.

Beyond ugly.
