It’s crazy to think that tyme and sdb are not mouth pieces for woody and the staff. But, if they are, why didn’t IU nip that in the bud a long time ago? The coaches are following these guys in X and they claim to get info from them…

isn’t that a fireable offense?

Both Tyme and SDB are indicating that Woodson isn't being retained.  SDB just tweeted he could 'confirm it's over' while Tyme was saying Woodson would 'coach the remainder of the year'.  But both could be right....at the TIME they heard the news.

Personally, I can't imagine Woodson would continue to coach after he found out that they were going to get rid of him for sure.  There has obviously been something off mentally with him at his IU tenure where he thinks he's untouchable.

We can’t let Woodson stick around if a retirement is announced. He’s going to “brag” about making Indiana relevant again.

Just maybe Woody made Brad Stevens feel so sorry for us that had to take the job.  This will be Woody's legacy "he sucked so bad, Brad had to save us"

Found this on Bleacher Report. Similar to what others are saying,  no idea on the reliability of the source. It .

That's actually very plausible. Massive male ego. Yesterday he bought into the retirement thing, to avoid being fired. He went home and his wife and other family members raised hell saying "they can't treat you like that". So he marched back in today to say I'm out.

I know of a guy that has NBA and NCAA head coaching experience. Former player. Now unemployed. Maybe we should look to hire Mike Woodson?

I'll pass. At his last stop they couldn't wait to get rid of him, and sources tell me there was no accountability so players got away with a lot.
