Or, it could just be like others were saying.  There was an agreement that Woodson was going to retire and stick out the year.  He sat on it for a day and then said, "Screw it" took his two technicals and ejected himself from dealing with the mess he created knowing it is over anyway.

At least Davis finished the year out and rallied to make the tournament.

Anyway, if Tyme is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Woodson anyway he is probably trying to spin it that Woodson didn't resign as Woody hopes for more $.

It’s crazy to think that tyme and sdb are not mouth pieces for woody and the staff. But, if they are, why didn’t IU nip that in the bud a long time ago? The coaches are following these guys in X and they claim to get info from them…

If they didn’t have somebody lined up, why not wait till the end of the season so potential candidates wouldn’t be put through the wringer by the media wanting to know their interest in the job?

On the other hand, why wait to announce Woodsons retirement if you’ve got your guy in place?  This saves somebody like Dusty from having all kinds of scrutiny during the game on Saturday..

Let's remember, nothing official has come out yet. Woodson is, unfortunately, here until he for sure isn't.

I get the thought of Stevens is exciting, but I'll believe that when it's announced.
