They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

Recommended Posts

If you are getting harassed I would think the worst think you could do is to make it public that it's getting to you.  And I wouldn't exactly call what this 'Jake Myers' texted as something that is 'harassing'......just ******* block the account.  It's a rude and uncalled for text to send, but get a grip.

I'm still trying to figure out if we won or lost. I've never seen more moral victory talk in my life on Twitter. So do we call it a win for woodson?

1. My comment was in reference to the potential pool of candidates once May and Stevens inevitably say no. Pearl, Drew, Wright, Donovan, McDermott, Buzz pick any other delusional candidate that isn't coming to IU. Will Wade is better than any realistic candidate that IU is likely going to hire.

2. We're looking for the next basketball coach, not your future son in-law

No, not looking for a son-in-law, but someone to represent the university with integrity and morals. Wade is not that person

We’re talking to agents, wife’s, coaches, kids everyone. I’m just messing around but yes back channeling is going on. Probably with many people but I know of one for sure.

Well this years team and program have been such a giant disappointment, and getting blown out in many of our loses, I can see why fans look at it as a moral victory.  We just played a top 10 team down to the wire, with a chance to win on their home floor.  These fans need something to be happy about and hang their hat on.  I am not claiming moral victory here by any stretch, but I actually thought they would get beat by 20+.  Except for the excessive amount of turnovers and coaching blunders, this was the hardest we played all year and our best game.  I want to know where that has been all season and I want to know where last nights Galloway has been all season.  It’s like they know their backs are against the wall with their season and coach.  It’s like they are fighting for both.

Remember when Purdue was the little step brother? Now we are uncle Rico talking about the glory days living in a van selling fake Tupperware or the guy sitting at a bar with Springsteen in Glory Days.

I guess but this team was also picked to finish 2nd in the big ten. Most expected 13 or 14 big ten wins. He would have to win every single game to finish with that record. I'm not giving him any props he was supposed to play like this every game.
