I see alot of posts saying he won't coach again at home assuming to avoid another ugly scene. I wonder if anyone considered the possibility ohio state fans have heard or payed attention to what happened and may troll him tonight? The away game at nw is usually a pro iu crowed mostly. I would be worried that could get ugly

Well, you all may remember me fondly as the Woodson defender from last spring.  Let it be known that I am now 100% firmly planted in the "Fire Mike Woodson" camp.  You all were right.  I was wrong, and I'm man enough to admit that.  I was at the game on Tuesday.  The vibe was off before the game even started.  Get rid of him now.

Is there a football recruiting dead period?  Let Coach Cig run the team the couple months before spring ball starts up.  At least that would be entertaining to watch.

I was at the cup cake game before Christmas and assembly hall didn't feel right. Everyone seemed down. Then the game started and we played a egg for almost the entire game. Won by 9 i think. Really feel bad for people at Tuesday game with young kids or the older fans. Real shame the administration let it come to this. No reason for it

If you're implying long term you're nuts.  Maybe to finish the season but that's it.  The bench next season won't look the same.  Maybe Jordy is asked to stay but he'll be the only one.

IU isn't the Indiana school that's on their mind....feel like OSU basketball never draws big crowds anyway but I imagine the campus is buzzing right about now

Read the article. Read the arrest report. This isn’t “baggage.” The guy assaulted his fiancé to the point where the injuries were visible to the responding police officer. They separated after six years. He was fired for cause and was paid zero dollars and he did not fight it. He stated he had videos to exonerate himself then refused to supply them.  
 

The arrest report is in the above tweet. I’d encourage everyone to read that and seriously consider if you’d want anyone involved in that anywhere near IU basketball. DV doesn’t just manifest itself once with a 911 call. These things don’t happen in a vacuum. 
 

Not that any of it matters as Jers stated. IU is never hiring Chris Beard.
