This goes back to KathyC’s amazing process. If there was an amazing process in place we wouldn’t have allowed all these clowns in the room and probably would have vetted them and briefed them so shot like this wouldn’t happen.

It was part of Buckner's agenda to get Woodson his fourth year.

Not just a 4th year but six million to boot. Let's double down on a bad coach. Just mind blowing stuff. The McNeeley decommit should have been the writing on the wall but Ferguson and quinn would have none of that. Now their boy is a laughing stock.

Personally, I think Ya deserves the interim tag more than anyone, and I don't understand why you all are sticking up for Cheaney, regardless of how good of a player he was.... he told us last year to be patient lol

Everything happens more slowly at a university. You have to follow the procedures. Just get through tonight.

So regardless of tonight’s outcome, if we just have to get through tonight, he will no longer be coach after tonight game, correct?

p.s.

Im in favor of throwing the “Fire Scott Dolson” thread straight into the trash.

I think he was telling us to be "A patient"...in the insane asylum that is IU Basketball as of late.

Sure, but (and assuming this actually happened) going into a meeting of that magnitude and not knowing exactly who every person in the room is would be the issue here. How is that even possible?

Again, it was Buckner's agenda... can't be anything except intentional. Ferguson is a lawyer and the chairman of the Cook group... no way he goes into a meeting like that unprepared or uninformed about the attendees.

Not a big deal, but his is 100% false.  The scandal part, true, but he did not marry her.

But he is with his 2nd wife correct? Who was also a cheerleader? But not the cheerleader. I might have some of the info wrong

I feel like the entire goal of Mike Woodson's tenure at IU was accomplished when Bob Knight came out onto the court. That's it....I don't think QB cared about wins and losses or anything else. QB and MW wanted to be the ones to bring Bob Knight back...

If true I am glad Cheaney said no.  Let Ya fall on the sword.  Calbert was my favorite player growing up and I know he had loyalty to Woodson and is probably irritated how all this went down, but I don't want to see this monstrous mistake take out any more Hoosier legends than it already has.

Curious about how his "loyalty to Woodson" is anything but being complicit in the crapfest?

I don't think we know that with absolute certainty.  His term is up but the new governor could reappoint him.

Different governor now and I pray, one with a brain/conscience.
