Gotcha!!!  You are right, MW is not a winning coach, nor is he a good coach!  He underachieves and underperforms as a head coach and that is passed on to his team 
At least happy had the best teams money could buy. But money can't save woodsons coaching.

The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

I have tried to believe, I have given every benefit of the doubt, but this beyond acceptable. The talent on this team is top ten in the country. And yet they play like this. I only watched the first half, but I could see where the game was going. Something has to change. We have too much money invested in these guys to accept this kind of effort.

So we hire an interim coach that lost his job 2 1/2 years ago but hasn’t caught on as a coach at any school in America because? He played at IU? I think we have already unsuccessfully tried that.

And then the AD is supposed to tell our new coach candidates that a requirement to their employment is that they must retain Fife as their top assistant? I’m not sure that computes.

Woodson being gone does, however, compute.

After a week off. Coaching malpractice. Tyme makes a good point that Woodson should probably be fired for allowing this to happen.
