Wow…. How was this not seen by the officials? We could have potentially tied, if not gone ahead with a 3.

It was the biggest call of the game. Never want to depend on a single play but man the refs blew that call (and blew overall).

Yes,….. I’m gonna say it again, how can they miss that call. You can imagine Coach Woodson will not be pleased seeing that.

Win the next three non-conference games and get to January at 10-3.  Get to 20 wins and turn it over to the committee.

I hear you but this is getting old. Three 5 stars in our starting lineup, and zero marquee nonconference wins.

A team with this much star power should not have to sweat it out on Selection Sunday.

We're likely gonna have to spend March rooting against a lot of bubble teams.

Ugh what a deflating loss today was.

In my experience refs blow their whistle way too quickly on those plays,

Same as when they make anticipation calls on drives.  There are billions of MBB dollars swishing around but somehow the NCAA can’t afford full time refs.
Todays crew should be fired but we will see them again.

Now we have to go 20-0 in the Big Ten in order to have a chance to make the tournament.
Am I doing this right?  Seems like every post adds a win.
Win the big ten or 2nd worst case. Beat purdue twice

Good fight today. Impressed to see Trey did what he did today, was not expecting that.

Take care of business at home and steal some wins on the road and the team can make the dance. Big Ten isn’t very good this year at all so they have a shot.

With how bad the big ten is…we may need to win 13 games in conference since we lost all our non-conference marquee matchups

Depends on who the 13 wins are against.  IU could win 13 B1G games and still not be enough to make the tourney.    Last time B1G was down this bad was Archie’s first year.   I believe 4 teams made the tourney and Nebraska got left out while finishing 4th in the B1G and 13 B1G wins.    They beat up on the bottom of the B1G for those wins

A year ago, we moved my mom -- who was 85 and very ill -- into hospice care at an assisted living facility after a roughly three-week hospital stay. Like me, she was an IU grad and a HUGE basketball fan. From her room, she and I watched Kansas crush us, though for the most part, she was out of it (apparently, she had a rough night and had been given a sedative).

I stayed with her another couple of hours, gave her a kiss and told her I'd see her the next day. That was the last time I saw her. She passed overnight.

Since that KU debacle was the last time we spent together, I was really, really, really hoping we'd turn the tables this time -- with her and RMK watching from above. LOL.

Alas, it wasn't meant to be. Oh well -- let's get three Ws, get X back in the lineup and try to grow during this stretch heading into the real B1G season.

Go Hoosiers!

MSU is beating #6 Baylor 53-29. Hope they hold on as the BT desperately needs some big wins.

Other than getting a win, I’m not sure I could be realistically be happier about this game. If this was a mid-pack B1G opponent, I’d be a little more critical. But it’s a top 5 team that has historically benefited from cheating (meaning they’re not playing catchup w the above board programs). I refuse to blame officials overall, but they were a factor. No issues w anything major here

I’m not a blame the refs guy. They’re human and each game one team or the other is going to get a couple calls they’re way.

This game we definitely got the short end of the stick. That call and that last foul on Galloway were egregious. The foul of Galloway was as bad as a moving screen on Dickenson as you can have without actually running to block the defender. The missed blatant foul on Ware’s break away layup was a big one for momentum.

No conspiracy. It just happens. Sucks for our guys, who mostly fought hard.  We’re not without blame. Our poor rebounding caused us to be in the above situation to begin with. Can’t leave it to the zebras.

I hope Mgbako stays another year and that we retain Mckeeney.  If we do that  and get Queen we'll have the most balanced team since the Oladipo days.  Great experience for Cupps.  This is hopefully a development year.
