I'm still hoping there is a surprise candidate that is not being leaked. Someone that just Dolson is talking to and not known to his assistants.

Well, that would fit the IUFB mold. I'm actually kind of expecting a coordinator getting the job. IUFB is such a tough sell to head coaches that have experienced programs with a culture of winning.

Didn’t Dolson conduct the bball search in a similar manner? List of names people thought it’d be and then boom out of nowhere ends up being Woodson? I could be wrong, can’t fully remember. Ended up being a bunch of smoke screens and then turned out to be someone else.

I think Woody's name popped up during the search. Or at least I recall his name being mentioned. But it was one of those names that was more of a casual name that no one talked about. I could be wrong about that. My memory is kind of shot these days.

If you remember, Woodson told him to "Zoom" his way over and speak to him in person.  :)

Well that is a long story. But the short version we thought we had a deal for someone, then it fell apart and we hired Woodson.

I wouldn't freak out over hiring Frye or Hart I actually think it could work out. Obviously would prefer to shoot higher but a solid and trusted assistant from one of the two best programs in our conference is nothing to turn the nose up at.
