He has all the talent for the game but zero of the feel for it. Seems like a good guy though.

IU had 3 TOs in the first half... finished with 16... and horrible FT shooting again - 10-18... no excuse for that...won the boards by 16 and the offensive boards by 5... not bad for the B1G opener... now, let's go get another at Michigan.

Our bigs can shoot FTs. Galloway and especially Sparks kill us on free throws.

Excellent games by Ware and Galloway.  Good game to Cupps and Reneau.  Mgbako was...ok.  I'm Dunn with Gunn
Absolutely brutal game from Geronimo

Gunn makes every offensive play more difficult than it needs to be.
Jumper off screen? Rise straight up? Nah, spin or fade or twist or kick a leg instead.

Open lane? Lay it in. Two hand dunk? Nah, let’s try to throw down the hammer of the gods.

His defense can be really good. His length and active hands are great. If he just played within the system he might have a chance.

He's very frustrating. Tonight sold me on the idea of Leal taking some (not all) of his minutes. And if he can earn all of Gunn's... that's a good thing for the team at the end of the day.

Agreed completely.  I actually like his defense.  But he's so damn determined to shoot the ball on every touch regardless of anything else

Didn't have time to listen to Coach Cig's short talk to the crowd until just now.

"Purdue sucks ... So does Michigan and Ohio State."

Guy's got a pair. ... Hope he can back it up!

I would have advised  him to say “Purdue sucks….So does Indiana State and Western Illinois!!”

All his minutes should go to Anthony Leal.  All of them.  Leal will get beat some off the dribble but he makes the right play.  He makes winning plays.

I was THIS close to making a post in the second half about how thrilling it would be to see us move up a whole 3 spots in Kenpom. Sigh...

Kenpom must really not like how we've essentially taken the 3 point line out of the game.

Geronimo I think still confuses people.  He is an athlete.  He is not a basketball player.  He seems like a good guy.  Hope he has some good games for them.

He had a couple good games against lesser competition for Maryland. Kinda enjoyed 0 points tonight

Willard hates Woodson so this was extra sweet.

We recruited Jamie Kaiser hard. He might be good someday but man. Rough game.

We wanted DHS. The scouts loved DHS. I really liked DHS. He was rough too.

Geronimo has been talked about a lot. Good kid. Just doesn’t have the skillset to play the position he needs to play.
