Who was the poster on here who posted the Xavier Johnson screenshot response to Ke'lel Ware that confirmed he wasn't taking any more visits?

That was the stuff of legends because it was like 10 minutes late we got confirmation he wasn't visiting..... can't even remember who it was.

Exactly!  They probably get a better paycheck if they keep their percentage above a certain number, like 90%.

There’s obviously no real info out there some UK insiders are saying UK others are saying it’s IU.  It’s a bit shocking since he already recorded his announcement. I figured it would leak.  Kids these days are great at playing it close to the vest

As long as we stick with Boogie, we're good!  For those who don't know, the Cuban sandwich was invented in Ybor City Tampa.  Them East Coasters just try to claim it.  
But since they're so proud, I asked Boogie himself.  His quote to me:  "I'm original, and I love the original authentic Tampa Cuban Sandwich"  There you go, end of debate
 

That looks more like the Cuban I know and love. Boogie-basketball-recruiting stuff-yada yada.

I'm sure Cal is pulling out all the stops but I think it is more than that. Cal is compulsive about trying to control the narrative even when he doesn't get the recruit. It is much better look for Cal and UK if it is seen as a close, back and forth battle this last week with Boogie deciding on IU at the last minute than it is if the decision has been IU for some time and UK was little more than an also ran. All it would take to promote that narrative is for Cal, his staff, or someone close to the UK program to 'express confidence' to a few insiders. Instant smoke. Kind of similar to what appears to be happening.

Kentucky, one of the sh*ttiest programs in all of Division 1 hoops, is said to have the closest shot alongside the Hoosiers.

 

from what Woody told me this morning at brunch, Boogie’s not interested in making love to any relatives, so Nate Oats and the Tide couldn’t offer him much.

 

on Friday, Boogie Fland will commit to Indiana University, and i will ingest an entire pecan pie in celebratory fashion before my wife gives me some absolute treatment.

Logic says this was decided when he set the date, stopped coaches from visiting, recorded announcement stuff, connected when Cuban for NIL, etc. could he have recorded 2 versions, sure.

I think Eric from the Hyserics podcast has said that rarely a recruitment changes at the last minute because of NIL. Boogie is comfortable with both UK's and IU's NIL package to be his final two. I am pretty sure he has his mind made up. We just have to wait another day. Obviously, we know the impact this commitment would have on this program. If he goes to UK, it'll sting. The staff put all their eggs in his basket. It would make Derik Queen a must get IMO. Would have to work hard in April to land a transfer PG. I do trust this staff though. 

 

My take: Nobody really knows. I think both sides feel good and they should. I think IU would be a great fit and personally that would be my prediction. But UK wouldn't surprise me.

Because you can't spend all this time on 3 recruits and only get one. They chose not to prioritize Mustaf, Betsey, Swartz, and others because they narrowed it down to these 3.

Also...I don't want this to be negative at all! I applaud what they are doing. But I think in this approach you need to get at least 2. We have one so far.
