You have to have a guy by the portal opening. Malpractice if you don’t. Have to get assistants lined up. Meet with current players. Agents outreach to portal players. Woody put them heee so it’s the way it is.

I understand but disagree. Line things up behind the scenes and wait until the season is over to make any announcements. Waiting a couple weeks wouldn't change a thing imo.

No I'm saying will hear something about someone. Whether they are a head coach or not. I think if it’s McCollum will start hear rumbling this week. He will have a week off or if they lose they might not make the tourney…

I think there is going to be a lot of pearl clutching going on here come next week. Not sure why anyone thinks we will hear anything before at least sometime during the NCAA tourney. Does anyone believe the incoming coach (if a current P5 coach) would appreciate having to coach a team in the tournament while his players are distracted and answering questions about his impending departure?

Well why would Scott care about what woody thinks when he retired mid-season? He chose this.
