Let's just say I speak regularly with someone who speaks with Dolson every day. 1 of the very, very few people who actually knows specific names he is targeting. Either this guy is giving me bad info on purpose about Stevens - honestly could be a smokescreen - or he gave me good info into the current landscape of the search. Used to go by a different name on this site but deleted that account. maybe Chris will remember, but I told him Archie would be the hire about a week before he was announced via DMs. Don't post on other boards, but have lurked here for a while. Don't want to be the bad guy, i want stevens just as much as everyone else and hope this is just bad info. figured i'd pass along what i heard yesterday - Jackal Bolded doesn't equate to absolute or 100% confidence. Secondly, you're telling us someone very close to Dolson is spilling beans, but guys like Jerry have been told to keep the chatter down (and have). I remain skeptical. If Baylor continues to flame out the rest of the season, I would be no less excited to have him as IUs next HC. Yeah, it seems a little odd to me that he would all of the sudden sign a contract with a lower buyout clause almost two months after its effective date. The contract does have a provision that he has to notify the university if he begins negotiations with another team. Maybe he signed the contract and then said, “oh, by the way…” thebigweave, str8baller and AZ Hoosier 2 1

Anyone who is saying Brad is 100% out is getting bad info. Do I think he’ll be our coach probably not but can’t say 100% thebigweave, JustWinBaby, Hollywood Mike Miranda and 7 others 7 3

hper50 Posted February 28, 2025 Posted February 28, 2025 I'm not terribly concerned about hiring the youngest coach (43 vs. 48 vs. 54). While it would be awesome to get a guy for the next 20-25 years, how often does that actually happen these days? Izzo, Painter, Self.... We need to get the best coach possible and can't afford to sacrifice for a guy a few years younger. Popular Post BehindTheBench Posted February 28, 2025 Popular Post Posted February 28, 2025 Shifting gears a bit, who do we think Brad keeps as holdovers from the current roster? I think an open invitation to return will be given to Malik, Mackenzie, and Bryson Tucker. Tougher conversations likely need to happen with Rice. No reason he can't grow into a great role player, but he's certainly not a starter and our primary point guard. Newton, Cupps, K9 all gone. FWA-EVV, Ctf9, mamasa and 16 others 9 10
