Can we fire back up the Dusty May talk? 
 

- His buyout is lower than fellow Hoosier Brownell

-He’s playing on Saturday in the B1G tournament. Can’t remember the last time IU did that. 

-Apparently the B1G didn’t figure him out or he got lazy after his new contract or he added magnesium to his diet or…. I dunno…I never quite got that theory. 

-He’s 2-1 vs Purdue in his first year in the B1G.

Did Mike Woodson get the position because he was a top drawer candidate, or because of backroom politics, (Buckner)? Has Chris Beard been passed over, or rather would he be passed over because of past DV accusations, or because to hire someone with even a hint of impropiety, (McDermott) might threaten support from donors, or revisit a time when the University was a battleground between academia and RMK?

2022 vs Iowa Jordan Bohannon banks a 3 at the buzzer 

2023 vs Penn State and booty ball 4 point loss 

I would be thrilled with Dusty just missed the boat last year with him . He would have taken last year and we’d been set for 20 years . But now I’d be more shocked than if it was Stevens .

I didn’t say my memory was very good. Lol. Not sure how I forgot about that first run that the committee rewarded us with a first 4 appearance. 
 

I can’t be blamed for the 2023 game, though. I’ve already erased every Woody game against PSU from my memory. Same with Creans Wisconsin games, the Bracey Wright era, and everything related to lil’ Archie.  
 

Throw the Brinks truck at Dusty, take his family hostage in the Union, threaten to revoke his diploma along side Jim Jones’ and Jared Fogle’s in the same televised ceremony…. Get dirty, Dolson! Get it done!

If only two coaches in the whole nation, including the NBA, aren’t “settling” I’m not sure how to respond to your opinion. But that’s an unusually high standard and would be for any school, not just IU.

I still get a feeling there is a reason there is not a lot of rumblings of information dropping. With every other job you have been hearing names and it has been narrowed fairly quickly. Can’t imagine the same hasn’t happened at IU, but I think we are waiting for the end of our/their season just to let the information out.

…..maybe the search committee still is, but,…. I believe from what Chris has said, Dolson had his own candidates he spoke too.

How long does it take for a new coach to get his staff together and hit the ground running?  The portal opens on the 24th (I think).  We have to be close to making a decision to allow them time to get things put together.  So realistically we have just over a week to make an official announcement.
