I understand what you're saying and that might be the key to all of this and hoping you are right...there have been at least some whispers and discussions going around and if he gets key backing of some boosters again. It's not necessarily a foregone conclusion.

Agree with this. Woodson should have literally zero input on this and if he does, IU deserves its status as an also-ran basketball program.

Squeaking into the tournament as a bubble/play-in after spending millions to piece together what was at the time a top 20 team is NOT going to get Woodson another year.  Now more than ever college basketball is a business and IU has paid Woodson plenty and he has not produced according to the standards he himself set from the beginning.

Think the plan all along was to hire a DePauw grad named Brad :)

In all honesty though, I do think Brownell is a much more realistic candidate than many want to believe. In fact, if Dolson can't convince Scott Drew to leave Baylor I bet he's plan B.
