Eric says he’s hearing Chris Beard is a viable candidate and was told by what he believes are credible people that a meeting was taking place or planned.  Raby says he’s heard there may be a softening in IU’s position re:  Beard.  [Personally, I would be extremely disappointed.]

 

They forgot to talk about Mark Turgeon!!

If we can’t hire someone with 10 million a year to get us back winning then we’re hurting. But I guess save money and go that route. But you’re not uniting the fan base.

Why would that be the absolute floor when he made it 1 season and 8 games at Texas?

Only one coach will MOSTLY unite the base. We've seen that to be evident here lol. Winning is what unites a fan base.

@Chris007 is it at all possible that your source is also Rabby’s “reliable source from previous searches”? The numbers he put out tonight seemed to match what you had heard about Stevens over the past few weeks.

I’m all for Stevens…he’s my #1…but after him and Dusty, I’m supporting Beard if he’s hired.

All you needed to take from that spaces was they all agreed Dolson has a small circle and Scott isn’t talking about his plan with many.  Which takes me back to how glad I am this coach search has almost 0 leaks.   No one knows who  Dolson has at the top of his list and I find it awesome that know one has a clue.   Greatest search ever in my opinion.  Let Dolson do his job and IU will have a really good college basketball coach at the end of this

They have a clear picture. There is a folder of pictures of Beard from the last search. I’ve been told about it more than once.
