What sticks with me though is that Stevens apparently did give us a look last time...and Dolson has created a friendship of sorts with Stevens, or at least been communicating with him...

From that you would think Dolson would be able to gauge Steven's interest now...and by some accounts he's not interested...

Then why was Woodson's "retirement " announced when it was...I don't think it happens mid-season unless Dolson felt strongly in a certain candidate...especially with the chance for the team to still make the tournament...

So either he wanted to get ahead of things for May...but it appears to have fallen through...or he feels confident in someone like Stevens...

Regardless we're going to end up with an upgrade over Woodson...

 

They had been back channeling talking to each other for a while. I went back and looked yesterday, I was told in January what the offer was going to be to Brad. So that’s where I know the quick he said no stuff isn’t true. He almost said yes last time and Scott was going to clean up his mistakes. Does it mean he will end up our coach no but he hasn’t said no. No candidate has. The real question is does Scott already have this wrapped up? Some seem to think so.

I don't have a clue who the next coach will be, but I DO know this: No matter who it is, half the board will be celebrating, and the other half will be lighting torches, brandishing pitchforks, and doing the goosestep towards Dolsen's office.

I think everyone will be happy unless it’s Chris Beard. I think everyone else most fans can get behind. Even if it’s Beard a lot of fans will.

I think Beard outside of Brad is one of the very few most would support.  Others like Wade and Pearl aren’t happening.  Drew and Lloyd would both probably be well received.

I think most would fall in love with Beard and his Knight-like personality. But the second he's photographed at Upstairs hammered.....we have trouble.

You could and then share that info, then be accused of pretending to be some self-important person on an anonymous message board.

I’ve been trying to reverse psychology a banner since Woody got refired. Fire him, he hangs #6 and gets another year or three. Easy trade imo. Pulling a Kevin Ollie if you will.
