Seemed to be pushing for Woodson around March 21 2021. Could see some connection to CMW with how they were pushing for him. So I don’t think they’re trolling us but also don’t fully buy the quality of info they’re getting. The timeline just doesn’t add up for me. If things heated up over the weekend and well after the team left for PNW, I don’t see CMW just being so connected to the search (and hearing BS and SD talks went nowhere which is counter to the other info people have gathered) and then calling buddies back in Btown about it between games.

Overall both in the top 4 pretty much every year.  I personally give the edge Big East because they have  produced 4 national titles.  B1G ranks ahead of them by Warren Nolan’s metric.  I’m sure kenpom ranks conferences as well.  My point was the Big East is  major conference in basketball and he has been coaching in that league and doing well.  People act like he coaches in the MEAC

Also: IU in 2025 is a very different job than Iowa State in 2006 especially when it comes to attracting talent. McDermott is the kind of guy that NIL would benefit greatly.
