The chief engineer from Dayton's Miami Conservancy District became the first chief engineer of the TVA. I got a job offer as a Civil Engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers. Turned them down. Their HQ is in Mobile Alabama. My wife said no way, Jose. I tossed a coin and lost. Turned the job down. Neutered at an early age. Starting a Go Fund Me page for sad sacks.
