Under this stat, Brad Brownell qualifies. Lots of small school coaches who couldn’t hack it in the big times would. I **kind of** like it as an “eliminator” stat, but it isn’t dispositive. Under this stat you would have eliminated Coach K (the most prolific coach since Wooden) and Hurley and possibly Roy Williams (depending on your stance on ties). That’s a whole lot of championships missed to put a lot of weight in that heuristic. Legend! he won't get me! Are we seriously still on the Stevens to IU train AGAIN? Weren't we due news shortly after the NBA All Star game regarding mister Stevens? We all but certain got a rash of he's not coming and onto the next if I recall. At this rate, IF and I am not certain why I am even considering putting this sentence in but here I am doing so IF Stevens becomes our HC, the expectations will be even higher if he becomes the HC then say any other individual not named Stevens how soon before our intense fan base runs him off if he delivers subpar or results similar to Woody?
