Michigan is going to say they are working on an extension for may to keep chatter down more to keep the noise silent for the players. May has already told Michigan that he isn't interested in contract talk until season end, could that change? sure, but right now nothing is in the works for may contract wise.

With that being said, brad is still the guy. He is the guy until he's not by his doing. Happy search season everyone!

Feels like whenever a new poster comes along with insider cred, mods figure it out pretty quick. Thinking of when Chris came around with Romeo news, for example.

So uh…GP, do you have the goods? Welcome aboard, regardless.

Here is a question?

Say Dolson lines up Stevens. Does he give his buddy, Dusty, a heads up before the announcement to allow him to use the leverage before it is lost?

Yes. But if Dusty continues to perform, the results and his merit in the job will take care of the leverage.  Some other big jobs will open eventually too … UNC, MSU, etc.

An analogy, IMO...

Picking out a great coach from the lower ranks is a lot like betting on a penny stock.

For the situation IU is in, we're looking for a blue chip guy to come in and pay dividends right away.

There could be higher upside to buying in early, but we need stability and good yield right away.

...In a different cycle I'd love taking a flyer on McCollum. Don't think it's in the cards this time around though.

Makes sense.

And on this analogy, regardless of who we get, I want Scott digging deep so we trade on as much insider info as possible.

I wonder if we get a coach like Williams or any other SEC would they be able to convince those type of athletes to come play in the big ten. It seems like there are talk out there that the top recruits don't want to play in the big ten.

I'll be honest I'm not a vest type of guy

As a vest guy, you don’t know what you’re missing. The freedom of movement with no jacket, while still announcing “I’m 100% classy” is hard to beat. I can brick a couple J’s in the driveway waiting on my wife to be ready and not worry about the tie getting in the way of my silky jumper. It’s the best of both worlds.

I know you didnt say this but if Brad is the guy, what makes people say that we "got our guy"?
