Guys I hate to break it to you, but Scott hasn’t done chit yet.  Maybe he and the firm made a list or something, but nothing specific has been done.  Nobody has been directly talked to.  No contracts drafted. Nothing.   While other schools have announced hires, IU is behind.   No way Scott keeps it this quiet.  He doesn’t have that power vs a big money booster or agent.  If it was anyone of any note It would have been announced or at least leaked already. Face it, the new guy has to get started.  Today, the entire team will enter the portal.   And while it’s not “officially” open, they will be contacted.  Renue, Tucker, and the two guards will be gone.  The new guy will have a team of zero.  Waiting because Mediocre Mike’s feelings will be hurt is a mistake.  Waiting to tell the Celtics or whomever is a mistake.   We had an opportunity to get a head start and it’s blown.  It’s a typical IU cluster farque.

There is absolutely no way this is true.  No way in the world Dolson went through the mess last spring and has just sat on his hands the last few weeks since Woody was "retired."  I cannot fathom how anyone can actually believe this.  Now we may disagree with whatever Dolson has done.  But there is no doubt he has been working on this situation for a long time.

Trying to reconcile Jerry saying no one knows + saying the lid will be lifted later this week (which insinuates we’ll know and they’re not currently coaching) with GP now knowing and it’s bad.

Collins?

It doesn't really matter at this point, its another hire of uncertainty another hey it could work maybe but also it could not and we continue the cycle.

Was just really hoping / manifesting we could have "our program" moment. a Chance for fans to be able to talk a little sh** to the national media / Purdue and other Big Ten fans. A hire that makes them go "Woah IU isn't messing around !"

I'm at the point where I think the most valuable thing Dolson could do right now is pay for a exorcism to cleanse this program. Starting to believe its supernaturally cursed at this point and yes I know nothing bein announced and Dolson has kept his circle small blah blah blah things are the same till they are not and right now its the SAME.

This is going to be a great week.  I'm a teacher and I'm on spring break:

1. Spring Break with the wife.  Kids are at school and the wife and I already had a morning "workout"

2. It's March Madness week and the opening rounds!  I can watch all of the games without my needy students wanting to learn something

3. IU is about to hire a great coach.

It's a great day and will be an amazing week!

McCollum on Dakich show now, saying “we don’t like getting kids who are moody, or soft…I don’t like to call kids soft, but who are soft. Ones who lack toughness. Those are the types of kids who will get you out our program real quick.”

I like the sound of that. If we end up needing to go with him, it’s those types of comments that’ll get me on board in a hurry.

My aunt Judy said on Facebook all kids today are soft

McCollum is a great listen.
Dude is a winner. Equal parts confident about being a winner and humble enough to know he’s only as good as “who he surrounds himself with”.

Yep. He gives good answers. He definitely has a plan.

Maybe Dolson thinks Collin’s is a genius since the guy he hired & gave an extension to couldn’t beat him…

He’s saying he’s used to having teams where everyone can shoot the three, doesn’t have that this year and has been forced to adapt the gameplans

Also mentioned not having a very athletic team and having to adjust the game for chances to win.

Did anyone catch Pearl’s post game interview where he said our guards aren’t pu**ies live on ESPN? I don’t care that he’s on the older side I would take him in a heartbeat.
