He is more if the kind if big wr have seen teams in the tournament be successful with.  He is long and athletic that can protect the rim. He is a guy that doesn't get plays ran for him in the post but scores on put backs

Is there some background with Shedrick and IU? Immediately after the posts appeared on Twitter, almost every first comment was an IU post.

Lol I am glad I am not a coach in today's game aside from the mega bucks lol. Not sure how you recruit and try to add from the portal when players are jumping in left and right. About the time you add a kid your immediately regret it because there is a better player that just jumped in the portal. What a mess imo

Chris007 mentioned it a few pages back (before he entered portal) that if he does that IU would be involved. So not sure if there was talk between the two sides already  that Chris is hearing about.

Any word on why his role diminished as the season went along?  He went from being a 20+ minute guy to a guy who had trouble getting on the floor for quite a while.

They had some injury issues and I would guess they needed more shot creation from bigs. Someone who watched more UVA can probably correct me.

IU will clearly need interior depth even if you think Reneau is a 30 mpg big. Without a change there is NO second 5 man on the roster. So the handwringing…I mean Sparks profiles as a plus backup at least. Of course they’re recruiting him and Ike simultaneously, at least until one pops (popped?).

Performance, not injury related last year.

They went smaller to effect shot creation, and because Shedrick was pretty limited in Bennett's offense.

Ben Vander Plat got hurt right before the conference tournament and Shedrick went back into a featured role, where he excelled.
