Was a board 5 star most wanted.  Lots were disappointing when he went elsewhere and many said we missed out.  Maybe 2nd time around is the charm and he is the perfect fit for IU.   Or he will go elsewhere and be forgotten again

Signed with Delaware.

Pretty gross if true. The “kid” will turn 24 before the season starts and Maccabi Tel Aviv is an elite program not some Latvian 4th division back(???) water.

This is the kind of stuff that (1) pi$$e$ me off, and (2) I truly don't understand.

What's the deal with grown men who have been playing professionally for several years being eligible to play "amateur" (??) college basketball with 17- and 18-year old kids? "Fairness" notwithstanding, what's the deal with this?

Will Wades entire LSU 2026-27 roster as of this moment. Let that sink in.

I'm all for Will Wade getting his comeuppance, but how is that possible? What on earth is going on there?

It’s just another pro league for the Euros. They play with younger guys all the time.

I keep harping on it, but 1) the schools should ditch the NCAA and 2) keep any new rules they make with a strong focus on being paired with the traditional American path of universities being pre job market training intuitions of 19-22 year olds. This is a tragedy of the commons situation where if you let the individual teams bring over 25yr old euros/current pros they will, but it is better off for everyone long term if nobody does.

Is there or has there ever been a more despicable and smarmy pair of major program coaches at the same school concurrently than Will Wade and Lane "rent a dog" Kiffin?

Can’t think of a smarmier pair off the top my head. Not even close, really. And then for the sprinkles on top of that sundae throw in Kim Mulkey, who along with being awful is pretty clearly nuts and they’ve cornered the market on coaches to be ashamed of.

Fair point. They haven’t gotten anyone killed that we’ve heard about….yet.

Agree except for the “for sure dominate” part. He’s never dominated at any level and he has major stamina problems.

“He can for sure dominate…”

ahhhhh? No.

I’ve sat courtside at UF games and this young man is seriously movement impaired. I would be shocked if he ever becomes an effective D1 rotation player.

At IMG he was maybe their 10th guy and every time he entered the game against any team that wasn’t just cannon fodder for them they went 2-3 because he couldn’t defend any kind of movement at all. And he only played a couple of minutes because he’d gas out. God, what those UF bigs would have done to him in practice must’ve been brutal.
