Last I knew, official visits were capped at 48 hours. So that has either changed or the Thursday-Saturday piece is just how his travel schedule shook out. My guess is he gets to Knoxville Thursday evening, but doesn’t see anyone from UT until the next day so his clock starts Friday morning. Or the same concept but from Thursday evening thru Saturday evening.

I believe still trying to get a visit. If we could get him on campus yesterday or today it would have been perfect. Took my 17-year-old to campus yesterday and there were lots of girls out in their "summer attire" and he was drooling. Plus he saw the hyper for the first time and all of the basketball courts. He said sign me up today.

Maybe pre NIL. I think now the money is a big issue. I don't know what we can offer but I bet he goes where he can get the most NIL and publicity

if he’s looking for the best opportunity to prepare him for the next level, then he can make a lot more money there than what he will get in NIL.

I agree with your premise, but if it’s an IU/Oregon race (I have no idea if this is the case) Oregon basketball can’t compete with either of those things with IU if that’s what it’s about for him.

I did not, I had to put my sunglasses on because my wife was giving me the evil eye because she thought I was staring.
