Don't know if anybody posted about this, but I guess Devonte had a snarky tweet about the decision -- that he later deleted.

Said. "Oh, how the tables have turned."

Hmmm ...

Greene was a bit of a dumpster fire as a player... wouldn't expect anything else from him as a person.

Sounds like Roberts, Hunter, Marshall and a portion of the support staff are sticking around to run things.

I wouldn’t mind if Hunter had a spot on the new staff since he was just hired. Maybe Roberts as well.

Former player Devonte Green seemed to have some built up animosity towards Miller that he shared on Monday afternoon.

“Oh how the tables have turned,” Green said in a post that he later deleted.

Saw this in an article about Archie’s firing and laughed.

Yes, he posted that.  Pretty classless....but also untrue.  Exactly how have the tables turned?  DeVonte Green was released by his Greek league team two weeks ago and Archie Miller is going to be getting $10 million over the next few years upon his release.

How's the buyout structured? I know any income from a new job offsets the buyout, dollar for dollar, but assume that the $10M is paid out over time ... how much per year? In other words, how much does Archie need to be paid to completely cancel out the buyout? And what happens to the excess donated funds recovered by the new job offset??

All good questions.  I'd think it gives him a good selling point for a new gig - he can ask for a low-ball couple of first years and still make the full amount.

I believe we have to keep paying him as though he's still our coach.  How we spend what's left is up to the donor.

They pay it out monthly over the rest of the contract. So evenly over the next three years.
