Demo Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Article/Mike-Woodson-who-once-coached-Jason-Kidd-sees-similarities-with-Jalen-Hood-Schifino-187238620/ Interesting read with more of Woody’s thoughts on JHS than I’ve read elsewhere. Would be real careful extending a Jason Kidd comparison too far, that’s one of greatest mental processors in the history of the game, but it is interesting the way Woody sees him. Also a bit about the Reneau recruitment, Jalen Hood Schifino also displayed extraordinarily mature leadership qualities at Montverde. That is an underrated skill, especially for someone who is likely to be one of our better players. Hoosierfanyuh and go iu bb 2 Quote
lillurk Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Yeah peak Jason Kidd was the best and most important player on two NBA finalists — the sun, moon, and stars of the Nets’ offense and a great defender. Then almost a decade later he played 35 minutes a game as a role player and won a title. Incredibly lofty comp. Woody’s been around high-level hoops for 45 years, so I don’t think he makes the comparison lightly. But geez. jk34, Hoosierfanyuh and thebigweave 3 Quote
