I don’t understand IU fans. You talk Garcia in the NIT but that was IU last year and not Marquette. IU basketball fans are much like Nebraska football fans. Outstanding fans but also living in the past.  Playing for IU for non Hoosiers does not have the mystique that you believe it does.

Be proud of your 1 championship. You will never have another.

This is usually when Chris007 pops in with a weather forecast. Given his absence and the fact that it appears Marquette has basically told him he can do whatever he wants next year, I’m not too hopeful on this recruitment.

He already weighed in. It ain’t sunny tomorrow. Although I’m not sure how tuned into this particular recruitment he it.

I think 007 has made his mark on this one, stating that the coaches didn’t feel good after the MU visit and then had liked posts that indicated he was going to MU and to move on

Yeah that’s a pretty good indicator as far as I’m concerned. Oh well, at least I won’t spend tomorrow looking forward to an announcement that doesn’t go our way

Okay then...who do YOU root for?  If you don't understand IU fans,  you don't understand IU.  Talk to Geronimo.  Ask him why HE chose Indiana.  Or Trayce Jackson-Davis.  A McDonald's All American who could have gone anywhere he wanted.  Or the kids who walk on at IU every year.  Or Victor Oladipo.  Or any number of others.  You can speak for yourself and you're a genius.  When you speak for other people with a blanket, you look like an idiot.  Nobody I know is living in the past except to use it as a barometer for what Indiana can be.

If this indeed is over this isn't the end of the world as we know it, although it does put much more emphasis on signing a big in the next class.

I'm sure Archie and company are all over it already and new names will be popping up.Is there any in state players that could be a quality 5 in the Big? I'm not aware of any.

Being able to offer playing time after what I hope and actually expect to be a successful season could sway some of the high profile national recruits.

There's always the grad transfer route too.

GO HOOSIERS!

I'm guessing you're not an IU fan and might, in fact, be a troll.

My hunch is based on a) the fact that this was your very first post; b) the tone of said post; and c) you obviously don't know the truth about IU athletics -- We're a football school now!

Rabjohns is close with the family, and he posted that as of late last night the family was still working to make a decision. I think that all signs point to Marquette, but I am holding out hope that the fact he hasn't already tipped his hat to them is because he really wants to go to IU.

If not, I am still very excited about our roster next year. Holding a scholarship for a loaded 2021 class also isn't the worst thing in the world (I believe there are 6 Indiana kids in the top 100), especially if there is a very solid grad transfer available.

He probably just needs some clicks
