Whoozhers Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 I thought Archie would be good for IU. However, it’s looking exceedingly that he is not the right fit. Uber disappointing.Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Quote

monskisprodigy Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 When the thought, "Will we ever be good again?" starts to creep into your mind...you know you are in a dark place. Well atleast our schedule gets easier from here on out! Wait a minute....Minnesota, Purdue, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State...Oh boy. Quote

Popular Post Trish Posted February 10, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2019 Hello all, Hoosier fan here. THE SUN WILL RISE TOMORROW. IT WILL. We're young, we're limited in skill, basketball IQ, shooting ability, consistency, depth, and much more. We're dealing with a bunch of Tom Crean recruits minus the most active Archie recruits (Romeo, Fitz, Rob). Injuries took a toll on us early this season, losing Hunter for the season was a huge blow. The development we would've used in those *cupcake* games early in the season could've paid huge dividends here in February. We must give Archie Miller time! That's right, we can't fire a coach in his second season on the job. Let's give Archie time to get his own starting five. Let's give Archie time to develop as a B1G Ten coach, he's only 40. We must come to the realization that "Indiana" is not the Indiana of the 70-80's. Times have changed, kids have changed, basketball has changed. We're still a historic program with rich tradition and pride, but we're in the process of dare I say it.. a REBUILD! *breath folks, breath A.j. He's part of the problem and a pretty significant part. I agree with some of the other things you've said, but he's not a scapegoat for posters who __________. That's just not accurate. Making a play or two here and there doesn't at all make up for the possessions he gives away. Game tied at 47 today. Our ball. Stares Morgan down for a few seconds, then throws the ball at his feet. Turnover. Last possession...never looked at anyone else. Never tried to get the ball to the middle of the floor. That was going to be his shot. Selfish and dumb. Story of his career and it doesn't matter to me that he made some plays today or in any game. This was one Indiana had to have and he hurt more than he helped. Again. Don’t bother saying Glass didn’t offer enough money...wasn’t the case. He had a blank check. Only 3 times or are you Fred Glass? No wonder you conveniently don’t want to mention the biggest elephant in the room. Our administration sucks and that has been the one consistent theme running thru this awful drought. Ryno6284 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Does anybody know why on a made OSU basket we went to the under 8 min tv timeout? No team took a TO, because on the next deadball it didn't go to timeout again! Quote
Ryno6284 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 IU basketball is IU football, painstaking to say that! Quote

Fred Glass would rather have a rah-rah emotional leader he gets along with than a gruff guy who actually can win football games at a nightmarishly tough job like Indiana. But hey, at least our players #LEO I'm not even trying to knock Archie by saying this, but hiring him was either proof the administration just doesn't give a sh1t about athletics, or a sign that the IU job isn't nearly as sought after as we'd all like to think it is. Somehow that is obvious to internet warriors but not to Archie. Quote
Ryno6284 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Also, is it me or do we have a shitload of days in between every damn game this year?! Quote

Yes, some did but there were some (not a lot) of comments about his teams lack of defense. I don’t recall much of anything negative being said about Archie. PS. nice avatar. Quote
DChoosier Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Just think of how bad we played and yet we still could have won. Just a slight bit of improvement and we would have at least 2-3 more BT wins. That is what’s so frustrating. Ranger78, Dhop and theriverpilot 3 Quote
