Popular Post Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 7, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 7, 2017 Another day of silence from Glass should be all the proof necessary. If he were coming back, they would already have the extension negotiated and we'd have had the 'kiss and hugs' press conference. If he were coming back, this extended period of uncertainty would have been eliminated so as not to impact recruiting of the likes of Tucker and Mark Smith and calm any concerns from our signed LOI's. bnkepner, Napleshoosier, Alford Bailey and 10 others 13 Quote

Sota Hoosier Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 He's not going to cry and sulk in a public setting. He's playing the part of a professional in an intensely visible setting which is what anyone should do and I'm sure his agent is advising to do so. Any slip or notice of breaking in adversity and that could be used against at future jobs as being a liability. Like everyone else, I want this thing to be over and questions answered. thebigweave, Str8Hoosiers and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote

Bringing Crean back would show the fans that Glass is all talk and doesn't care about IU being an elite program. About all we've got going for us these days is our fan base, and if they stopped caring I think IU would become a dead program. I know I won't waste my time being an IU fan if Glass keeps Crean. No point in hoping for a program to be elite when those in charge let you know they have no interest. VO5 and recker222000 2 Quote
