Although it took me a lot longer to get on the Fire Crean wagon than most of you, I do think it is time for a change. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for what he did the first 3 yrs. He brought us back from what Samscum did. Although unhappy we lost to Syracuse, It wasn't the first time a 1 was beaten by a 4 so I let it slide. I respect the opinion of those who thought it was the last straw. It just wasn't mine.

The inconsistency of the Program since, culminating to the B1G play this year was my final straw.

 

We need to make a change and if we lose tonight it needs to be tomorrow. I live in the middle of Iwhini Country. If they have a better coach than us because Glass stayed the course or didn't try very hard to get Marshall, one of the the Millers, Keatts or a good coach, I will be angry.

Having said that, don't get too excited or upset about something posting about whether or not he is gone. Most people don't know. If I remember correctly, know had Crean as the new coach on any board until it was announced. I used to be that way also, but seeing people you served and family members pass away to soon, it changed my outlook on things don't really affect life or death.

I wouldn't worry about that, Crean has never won 5 neutral court/road games in a row.

So, I was at the BTT this past week and spoke with fans from maybe 6 or 7 BT teams.  They all thought that i was over-reacting when i told them that i wanted Crean fired. I then proceeded to ask them if they would swap coaches with us...and not one...not even the Rutgers fans would swap.  That says a lot.

I believe Crean is a stand up guy like Vitale said. Having said that, I think he has reached his ceiling and needs to leave.

I had an 84 yo patient in today for 2.5 hours.

He is firmly couched on the Fire Tom Crean bandwagon. It was awesome. He had all the same complaints we do. Including recruiting complaints. Sounded like a true to life BTBer.

Not gonna happen.  Would have to beat Syracuse.  I seem to remember a couple of recent games against them.  Tommy seemed to be in a bit over his head.

My wife and I were waiting for a dinner table a couple weeks ago. We went to the bar for a drink while we waited. There was an older couple (70s/80s) and their kids (50's), and the this 70/80 year old guy was going off on Crean. I just stood there and smiled listening. Music to my ears.
