Reporter: Do you believe that the players are a reflection of the coaching they receive in said adversity?

***things I wish the reporters would ask

How about: Tom, every year your teams are among the worst in the B1G in turnovers and defense. Are all of your teams immature?

Damn, should start calling him slippery crean! No coach should make that type of comment about his players! Yes several obviously didn't show up, again! But there were still players that showed determination and were trying to rally the team! Davis was out to win, mcswain even showed something tonight and tried to motivate, but I truly think that coach has lost the team completely, but still tries to make face by passing the blame like always

I hate Tom Crean. There. Unfiltered truth. Not as great a guy as some make him seem.

He feels trapped in a corner and now he's lashing out. The "he's a great guy" schtick is one of the few positive things he has going at this point. If he makes a jerk of himself he makes it even easier for people to want him gone. Let it out Coach, let it out.

I was wondering if he would finally take blame or if he would throw the players under the buss.  Not surprisingly he threw the players under the buss instead of taking even an ounce of blame on any issue.

Let's stop the "great guy" crap.

Hey, some of them may not mind getting thrown under da buss. ;)

Why in the world would we bring him back? We likely lose our best three players and bring in an average at best class. He wont recruit worth a crap for 2018 and the hole gets deeper. Probably cant make the tourney next year. Bringing him back just delays the inevitable and will set the program back a couple years.
