reconmkd Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Damn, should start calling him slippery crean! No coach should make that type of comment about his players! Yes several obviously didn't show up, again! But there were still players that showed determination and were trying to rally the team! Davis was out to win, mcswain even showed something tonight and tried to motivate, but I truly think that coach has lost the team completely, but still tries to make face by passing the blame like alwaysSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

He feels trapped in a corner and now he's lashing out. The "he's a great guy" schtick is one of the few positive things he has going at this point. If he makes a jerk of himself he makes it even easier for people to want him gone. Let it out Coach, let it out. Hoosier_roots, HoosierTrav, GloryDays and 1 other 4 Quote

Hoosier Guy Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Tom Crean is pathetic. Look at how Tom Izzo took ownership after that blowout loss at Michigan. Izzo: "I take full responsibility for the turnovers." That is a true coach and that's why his teams play for him and play like they do Feathery, hsrtxp, LIHoosier and 3 others 6 Quote
Popular Post pumpfake Posted February 12, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 12, 2017 For any of the younger posters, I'd like to tell you about a magical era in IU basketball. A time where even if the season started poorly you could count on the team improving, and watching other teams with big early season wins fall apart down the stretch - as we overtook them and roared toward March. Now we're one of those other teams. CR3AMnCR1MS0N, MemphisHoosier, HooHooHoo22 and 8 others 11 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Why in the world would we bring him back? We likely lose our best three players and bring in an average at best class. He wont recruit worth a crap for 2018 and the hole gets deeper. Probably cant make the tourney next year. Bringing him back just delays the inevitable and will set the program back a couple years.
