I’m a sucker for coaches who are stoic until the clock hits 00:00. Super focused mentality, not too high, not too low, and it’s not over ‘til it’s over. Cig’s reaction to the Sarratt score reminded me of Larry when Reggie hit the ECF game winner vs the Bulls.

I really thought Fernando was dead after the first play. Had the pit in my stomach I had when Tyrese was screaming and punching the floor in game 7. To come back after that shot and make the throws that he made…unbelievable. All the obvious national awards and whatnot, but like…IU Athletics Hall of Fame type stuff. Hit was legal too, imo.

If you wanted to hate Notre Dame more, that's the bowl they declined. Instead its BYU vs Georgia Tech in the only non playoff bowl that matters.

Finally this forum is back for me. I attended the game in person so last night was particularly special. It was my first Hoosiers game in person and it was the first time I ever got to see them beat the Buckeyes. ...I'm 36. That says a lot. I started crying.

B1G took one on the chin yesterday. Illinois helped out. Most the games I would have live texted about were all blowouts yesterday. Still yesterday was the first big Saturday on the college basketball slate and I missed talking about in here with you guys. Congrats to all the IU football lifers that got to experience that yesterday. You guys deserved it. Hopefully the lights can stay on this time

They're stronger up front, have more speed and IU won't be able to score enough. IU is a cute little story, but now's the time to separate the men from the boys." To ... "That game doesn't matter. Not enough info for me to come to any conclusion on how this season is going to go yet. Eye test shows me they won’t be an upper level nationally in the first year. Eye test shows me they won’t get a chance to go 18-2 in their conference like some did last year because of a weak conference and weak conference schedule. All I know this year is in a neutral court game against a top 6 team they lost. They didn’t take advantage of a Q1a game. I also know they lost on the road to a team they probably should have beat but I’ve seen better teams than this Indiana team lose over there. Law of averages tells you a program winning 9 straight against another team is probably going to go the other way sooner rather then later. Unfortunately for IU the 2 high major non conference wins they have are not looking as strong as most thought. Those teams have all year to figure it out to makes those wins look better. IU is going to have a ton of chances to figure some things out and will have plenty of resume building chances. When they start losing homes games to teams they shouldn’t then I will worry about this year. For me they still have a chance to be a tourney team that’s solidly in the field. As far as being one of the best teams in the sports this year in my opinion no they won’t be that however I never thought they would be this year

What a run the last couple years have been. If someone told me when Cignetti was hired we'd go from the most losses in college football history to outright B1G champs and CFP #1 overall I would've thought they were crazy.

I wonder how poorly the IU ticket office is going to handle our allotment at the Rose Bowl. Good luck to anyone relying on it, but that question is what led me to buying secondary market tickets at 6 this morning.

Friday night Bishop McNamara defeated Santa Margarita 71-67. At the end of the 3rd, Bish McN trailed 50-43. During the 4th, Moody went on a personal 5-0 run and Bish McN got the win. He finished with 24p and was named game MVP. Saturday night No. 18 Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Md.) stunned top-ranked Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) 57-52 on Saturday night, erasing a 19-point third-quarter deficit.
