I am so gonna miss this thread. Been on IU message boards since Al Gore invented the internet, And this thread has been as entertaining as it gets. Well my niece got prom queen at new Albany last night! As I said before, she is friends with Romeo and a cheerleader for the team. the last thing she said to me about this was that he hasn't said anything to anybody, but that everyone in the student body thinks he's going to IU. Not sure if that's worth anything, but at least it gives me cause to hope.

Im just confident based on all the really great intel that its going to be Donovan............I mean Romeo to IU.

Rabjohns said there are people at the Nike EYBL thing who feel the confidence coming from Kansas stems from Grimes being confident Romeo is going there. That's it. Bailey had a bit of a meltdown and things kind of took off from there.

Curious. Romeo Langford is choosing a 1-year stepping stone tomorrow. There are > 13,000 posts about it in this thread alone. What will you all do if he decides to go to a school other than Indiana? What will it really mean? Indiana has a solid team next season. A highly ranked recruiting class, several highly ranked kids interested in the program, Archie is developing terrific relationships with local coaches, Indiana Basketball is still (and will still be) one of the most valuable entities in college sports; and the program is in good shape, good hands, and has a bright future. Putting aside the "he will make Indiana cool again" argument because I don't agree that Indiana needs to be "made cool again." (Victor Oladipo, OG Anunoby, Eric Gordon, Cody Zeller, and Thomas Bryant are all recent pieces of evidence to substantiate that, in my opinion) Why are people panicked about this decision? Why on pins and needles? Why so anxious? You'll all be IU fans whether he comes or not, and you'll all be fans the 2019-2020 season when he'll be in the NBA regardless of where he plays his 32-27 games next winter. I hope he comes to IU, however I don't understand the panic and anxiety.

As other have stated. He also said Billy D was coming among other things. That’s exactly what you were trying to do because you have an obsession with anything involving that site and would never allow anyone to say anything negative about them.

He also swore up and down Billy Donovan was coming and waffled back and forth several times about whether Crean would be fired. Then he freaked everyone out last September when he said he had someone telling him we were going to be named in the FBI probe, only to backtrack that same day. I don't find him reliable anymore.

As we move on to 2019 season........ Michigan State has a cheating coach and an utter lack of morals as an institution. Does anyone make Izzo pay for his misdeeds? Kansas is wrapped up in a snuggie-like fashion by 4-5 cases of impropriety. Players clearly being paid left and right, front and back. Does anyone care? They are bringing in another star studded class. Who cares? Duke has the #1,2, and now 5 ranked player in the country signed after The Bagley's virtually begged the NCAA to question their lavish new lifestyle. Does anyone care? Duke is untouchable. Arizona......Miller was caught red handed, or was he? Broiling in controversy. Results paint a pretty clear picture. What gives? $EC throwing cash around all over the place. Even Vanderbilt, yes Vanderbilt has acquired $EC standards. Alabama and Sexton. Miami caught up... Maryland involved... And on and on... I don’t get why everyone puts so much trust in Rabjohns... the guy works hard to put out a quality product covering the team, but when it comes to recruiting/insider info he seems to be played every which way. Sure, he just “reports what he hears”, but apparently he hears every story out there. This feels like a hedge against a confident statement, and now he’s getting some cold feet.
