Yeah, don't get his comments......sounds like something that would have come from an OSU home announcer. Going back, I tried to figure out if he had any reason to be anti-Michigan (or pro Ohio State). Did find he was born and raised in Detroit and played four years of baseball at Howard University. I don't know.....maybe holds a grudge that Michigan didn't recruit him in baseball? I don't know. Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 If Purdue had been spotted a 34 point lead in every game this year, they would have been 6-6. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Don’t want any part of Georgia at Georgia. I’d much rather Penn State, Tenn, or especially Notre Dame. Regardless, we will have a “talent deficiency” and the odds aren’t great when facing a team full of 5 star athletes but who knows. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners DChoosier and go iu bb 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Probably can't be too picky, but I really hope we don't have to go to PSU. We've played there so often it wouldn't really feel like the special game it should be. I want to go somewhere else to enhance the experience. AKHoosier 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 I’m not sure Purdue can be competitive enough in NIL to be anything better than “not very good”. That job looks really, really unattractive unless they have a well-hidden war chest. Their rebuttal will be “WELL INDIANA WASNT ATTRACTIVE EITHER”, but it was to anyone that was paying attention and knew that the financial potential was there. To my knowledge, that potential is not there at Purdue. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Top twenty-five rankings out — IU 9th in both. Miami all the way down to 14 in both polls. CFP polls usually aren’t far from those, so would think that IU will be 9 in CFP and due to auto bids, 10 in the bracket on Tuesday set to play Georgia at 7. since Georgia plays in the SEC title game, I would expect that could change the final matchup. If Georgia wins they are the auto bid and I would expect IU to be at either IU or ND Alford Bailey and Dave from Dayton 2 Quote

Today….I wanted Georgia to win the SEC so that we do not open against them. I’ve probably just been sucked into the brand name vortex but GA is one of the places I least want to travel too. But I don’t see a loss knocking Texas to the 7 seed — because Penn state likely loses to Oregon. So I think the more realistic scenario is Penn state or Notre dame at 7. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

Well I’ll also believe we’re the 10 seed when I see it. Committee has a clean slate this year to apply whatever “logic” they choose to CCG results. We could host or be the 11 seed for all we know.
