Rumor has it that Brooks refuses to commit to Indiana University until his favorite forum's thread dedicated to him reaches 100 pages.  I don't know this for a fact.  It was merely a rumor.

And I should elaborate by adding that this rumor specifically stated that deer hunting posts would not count towards this required page number.  

Has anyone else heard this rumor?

I hate sharing to people what I dream about, but I had a dream last night that Keion Brooks committed. I was kind of depressed when I woke up. Not because it was a dream, but because I am dreaming of a 17 year old kid committing to IU.

If it helps, 2 weeks ago I said I didn’t see TJD commiting that day.  8 hours later he did. So.....

I don’t see Brooks committing today.

From what I've heard, he doesn't plan to announce today, or this weekend or any time early next week. This is based on the fact that La Lu will be travelling to Hawaii and he wants to get past that before he makes an announcement. That being said, everything I've heard says IU is the pick for him. The earliest I could see him committing is late next week, no day set though. Just based on what I was told, maybe that could change but at this point, I have not been told that an announcement is imminent this weekend. I do hope I'm wrong though.

Same thing for me but he announced about 30 mins after me saying I didn’t see it happening. Hopefully if we both say it it’ll happen today, so I don’t see Brooks committing today.

Brooks and La Lu are in a tourney in Hawaii over the holidays and when they get back they go to North Dakota for another tourney. I wouldn’t expect anything happening in his recruitment until after those.

 This is true.I remember discovering players names when I read in the Sunday sports section they'd signed.I admit I now check everyday but it was less stressful then.

Specifically as to Brooks and Watford - 

The important word here is ‘take’ because Archie Miller would love nothing more than to add both Keion Brooks and Trendon Watford. Two more five-stars to go along with another in Trayce Jackson-Davis? Hoosier Nation would be celebrating all across the state.

Now, what are the chances of this happening? Minimal at best. We broke down the recruitment of Watford on Friday as he cut his list to four with the Hoosiers making the list. They will host him for his final official visit, which could definitely help, but Alabama and Memphis may have the upper-hand in this one.

With Brooks, I like where the Hoosiers sit with the in-state star. He is down to a final six but Kentucky and North Carolina seem to be Indiana's primary competition. Brooks is not too far off from making a commitment and it would not be surprising at all if he joined the Hoosiers.
