Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Brooks will end up coming down to a final 3 or 4 of IU, MSU, UK and KU and depending on how prioritized he is by each school one or 2 will weed themselves out. I think 65/35 we get him with the momentum going up. lillurk 1 Quote
Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Our '19 class is where the elite talent WILL come. Add in our guys we have for '18 and on the roster these guys know we are a few pieces away. ALASKA HOOSIER and HoosierAloha 2 Quote

IU needs to get those type of players every single time there’s an opportunity Iugradman 1 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 From the parent's perspective and one of the humorous comments. “I guess it’s one of those things where we have to watch what we wear,”Keion Sr. said. “People say, ‘His dad’s in an IU shirt. His mom’s wearing an Ohio State outfit.’ Now, I go get a shirt and think, ‘Don’t wear that.’ I never thought I’d have to worry about what shirt to wear when I got old.” http://www.news-sentinel.com/sports/2017/11/23/keion-brooks-jr-s-parents-feel-a-different-type-of-recruiting-pressure/ WayneFleekHoosier, ALASKA HOOSIER, mdn82 and 4 others 7 Quote

We sometimes complain about how kids handle their recruitment but the process has created this monster. The more I think about it the more surprised I became that they handle it as well as they do. moyemayhem and mamasa 2 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Honestly I don't see any player as a "must get". We must get talented five stars to compete at the highest level, but that could be Jackson-Davis, Brooks, Hurt, Watford, etc. We must get guys with their skill but I don't see individual guys as must gets. I respectfully disagree. The top in-state players are must gets. It is of utmost importance to protect this state. IU won’t get back to elite status until they protect the homegrown talent schoosier, MoyeNeeded and Iugradman 3 Quote
