Our '19 class is where the elite talent WILL come. Add in our guys we have for '18 and on the roster these guys know we are a few pieces away.

This. It will be year 3 for Archie. I expect a good year and to be dangerous in March.

Blackhawk Christian and Freshman Caleb Furst will be really good too.

Furst is a top 5 Freshman in the country. Already 6'9". Coordinated. Pretty athletic.

Indiana needs to be involved.

If I'm reading their schedule correctly, it looks like they play each other Nov. 28th. I may have to make an attempt to head over to the game.

NS will be the better team as they should but you would get to see some great talent in that one. I'll be paying attention to Furst to see if he continues to live up to the hype.

Brooks will end up coming down to a final 3 or 4 of IU, MSU, UK and KU and depending on how prioritized he is by each school one or 2 will weed themselves out. I think 65/35 we get him with the momentum going up.
What about izzo? He seems to own indiana.

Of course IU needs to be involved. A top player nationally and from the state of Indiana. Can’t miss those guys. IU needs to get those type of players every single time there’s an opportunity

From the parent's perspective and one of the humorous comments.

“I guess it’s one of those things where we have to watch what we wear,”Keion Sr. said. “People say, ‘His dad’s in an IU shirt. His mom’s wearing an Ohio State outfit.’ Now, I go get a shirt and think, ‘Don’t wear that.’ I never thought I’d have to worry about what shirt to wear when I got old.”

Privacy is definitely a casualty of the information age. We sometimes complain about how kids handle their recruitment but the process has created this monster. The more I think about it the more surprised I became that they handle it as well as they do.

Honestly I don't see any player as a "must get". We must get talented five stars to compete at the highest level, but that could be Jackson-Davis, Brooks, Hurt, Watford, etc. We must get guys with their skill but I don't see individual guys as must gets.

I respectfully disagree. The top in-state players are must gets. It is of utmost importance to protect this state. IU won’t get back to elite status until they protect the homegrown talent
