Unless purdue can figure out a way to start hitting alot of threes they are toast imo.

They don’t need to change much at all. Purdue isn’t shooting 3’s bc UConn is taking it away. They will win with that strategy imo.

Here is something I absolutely LOVE:

Clingan picked up his first foul with 15:00 left in the first half. At halftime? Clingan still only has one foul. Edey hit shots over Clingan, but they were far tougher shots than he usually has to take. And they didn’t have to double with Clingan in the game.

Weirdly,  uconn is pretty good at them (like we were last year) but have struggled from 3 the last few games.  Painter may have to go under 2nd half and give them 3s and hope they struggle.

Because Clingan has singled up on Edey. And done a fantastic job of it.

Feels like UConn may have figured something out on Edey the latter part of the 1st half. 

Of course now that I say that he'll go for 20 and 10 in the 2nd half.

At this point they aren't even trying (or at least, aren't getting) three point shots up.  Just two attempts that half (they ruled Mason Gillis' shot that got blocked a two but it looked like a three to me).

Clingan able to get to half with only one foul.  The two guys that have two fouls for U Conn are the two guys they get off the bench

Yep. And playing edey one on one. They're losing that battle but pushing the pace to make constantly dumping to edey a losing strategy in the long run due to high possession count.
