Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Xavier will pay Texas A&M for the NIT title. I think Texas A&M wins and probably fairly easily. They've been on a mission and honestly should have been in the tourney, maybe even over us. But awesome to see Xavier get this far after firing that joke of a coach. lillurk 1 Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 It'll be awesome if NIL deals can keep kids who shouldn't go pro early, stay in school. If you're a late 1st/2nd round/undrafted, you really shouldn't leave college. If you're the 25th-35th pick as a junior, you're probably gonna be the same as a senior. Quote

Nothing ruins a game fore seeing so much dribbling. The offensive game in college basketball is so bad right now and has become almost unwatchable. str8baller, BtownStrength, reconmkd and 1 other 4 Quote

It can. Here is a video of North Carolina playing against a zone -- they break the zone down almost exclusively with cuts, passes and screens and very little dribbling. They do miss some open shots in the video, but they're getting looks. mjeze106 1 Quote

JerryYeagley23 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Shaheen Holloway named HC at Seton Hall. Maybe one of the most obvious hires in recent memory. Has been assumed for weeks even while his team was still playing. NVFalcons1990 and OliviaPope40 2 Quote

As others have said, this would work against a zone. It'd keep the defense moving and shifting and unable to get set, which would lead to post opportunities or looks from range. Our Crean teams stunk against the zone because didn't move and pass enough letting it get set. thebigweave 1 Quote

Always have a player in the middle, passing in and out with the ability to score either from that player or the perimeter Quote
Hoosier2016 Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 (edited) If you guys are into podcast at all I would HIGHLY recommend listening to yesterdays episode of Pardon My Take. Buzz Williams (Texas A&M's head coach) was on and it was one of the best interviews I've ever listened to. Skip to the 48:00 mark and get past the first few questions. The guys interviewing are comedians for the most part so don't let the first couple questions kind of detour you. Buzz Williams is an amazing person and a role model. He talks about his daily routine, what he holds himself to-accountability wise, and to and what his "dreams" are/is. Really, really good. I really picked up a couple things from him that I would like to try to incorporate into my own life. Edited March 31, 2022 by Hoosier2016 upperarlington, craigyv88, Stuhoo and 3 others 3 3 Quote

Popular Post LamarCheeks Posted April 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted April 1, 2022 Kind of a cool moment in Jersey today. Saint Peter's players showed up to Shaheen Holloway's Seton Hall presser. He thanked them, applauded them, then made the Seton Hall fans give them a standing O. Pretty classy ... lillurk, HinnyHoosier, IUc2016 and 8 others 11 Quote

I always thought Steele would do well, seems like a likeable guy but could never get things going. Miami of Ohio will probably be a good fit, no pressure. Quote
