I think it means that when we think someone is a sure thing as a young, successful coach, it may be true or there may be more than meets the eye behind the scenes.

I've heard some weird things about Nate Oats' personal life recently that you won't read about in the papers anytime soon. 

None of it is verified but if true, he probably won't be getting a top job anytime soon.

He already has a top job. Bama has been really good under Oats

if I’m Oats, I grab my captain and tell him to get the team together and get them ready for the next game… not sure why this is a big deal
